Hello folks at The Atlantic!
I’m Shirley Chan.

I’m an Asian-American video storyteller based in Brooklyn. My work lately has focused largely on cultural commentary.

I like to make videos with quick-witted, sharp angles and an experimentally creative approach.

I am a producer, shooter, and editor, and I also dabble in photojournalism, motion graphic design, and VR.

I’m showcasing the projects that reflect my wide skill set that I would bring to the video team at The Atlantic.
